Do you need to wear a motorcycle helmet when on the road? Can it be used on a cycle path or park again after it’s been registered or is it only a road vehicle from that point on?
once registered a motorcycle helmet must be worn and it will be classed as a road vehicle only.

Really like the bike. Very well built. I like the suspension, smooth ride. The hand throttle is nice for starting out from a stop. It came with the 52 volt battery and it looks like I'm going to be able to put on a lot of miles between charges. This is my second electric bike and I would tell anyone looking for an e bike to consider this one.

My wife and I absolutely love our Ovia bikes! We take them with us while traveling around the country in our RV. We get asked so many questions about these head turners. We have referred dozens of other campers to Cyrusher. We did originally purchase the XF800 model Cyrusher bikes. They were also awesome bikes too but with our short stature of just 5’6”, we found the dismount to be a challenge. After a few falls, we sold them then bought the Ovia’s. Best bikes ever! Easy on and off. Great quality and a joy to ride. Our poodles love them too as they are trailered with us! Cyrusher customer service is off the charts! 5 stars all the way! Just a little caution … at 65 years old, we find these bikes to be powerful and fast! So strap on your helmet and hang on! We’re going riding!

The assembly was very straight forward and easy. That was, after watching the Ovia assembly video on YouTube. It is well worth watching and I would encourage readers of this review that buy an Ovia to watch it. The bike is AWESOME! And just to let people know, Cyrusher did not give me the bike to review, I bought it. The frame size and design is, in my opinion, close to perfect. The way the rear shock is incorporated into the frame is really nice. Being 6' 2" tall, the handlebars are wonderful. They are like motorcycle handle bars so they adjust very easily. If I want to pedal a lot, I raise the seat to increase the stroke on my legs and knees, and if I want to be a slug and not pedal, I lower the seat - so my feet are closer to the ground, and use the motor exclusively. The welds on the frame are awesome! If these aluminum welds were hand done, which I suspect they were, the people doing the welding are very good. I absolutely love the color. When it comes to painted machines, I'm very fussy - the paint job IS perfect. Red frame with red wheels - why would anyone buy any other color? The motor is smooth and quiet. 750 watts is plenty. I made some changes in the display and now it goes way faster than I want to go. 20mph is fast enough for me, but trust me, it will go faster. The battery is easy to get in and out of the frame. It also has a nice little rubber-covered access port on the left side bottom of the frame where you can charge the battery with out removing it. The brakes are awesome - no cable stretch with hydraulic brakes! The carry rack in very well made. It looks strong enough to support 500 pounds. I had watched some videos that said it had a battery operated rear tail light, and that and integrated rear light should be on the way. I was very pleased to find the one on my bike IS integrated into the electronics. So it has tail AND brake lights. The tail/brake light is very bright and noticeable. Very nice Cyrusher! I have another pass-through bike I bought about 3 years ago. It is a Bintelli. It's nice because it has turn signals I guess, but no suspension, cable brakes, no adjustable seat - it doesn't even come close to the Cyrusher Ovia. I know it's hard buying things that you can't see up close and test ride. So maybe this review will help some folks get over that apprehension - BUY ONE!!! Remember, Cyrusher has nothing to do with this review, this is all my thoughts and opinions of this bike. In closing, let me say that watching the reviews on YouTube, I too was skeptical. It seemed like all the reviews on the Ovia were great, with very few negatives. Many of the bikes were given to the reviews by Cyrusher to review, so that is part of why I was skeptical. Well, don't be. I came to find out after putting mine together and riding it why the reviews were all good - BECAUSE THE BIKE IS THAT GOOD! I hope this review helps people. And please remember, these are just my thoughts and experiences, yours may be different. :)
