Warranty

This warranty is only valid for the original owner of a Cyrusher. This warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts at Cyrusher's sole discretion. This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by failure to follow owner's manual instructions, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modifications, improper assembly, wear and tear, installation of parts or accessories not originally designed for or compatible with the bike being sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper aftercare. Only in extreme cases will a complete replacement bike be issued, in which case the original bike must be sent to Cyrusher's facility for inspection/repair before a new bike is shipped. If repairs can be made, a new bike will not always be sent. The warranty is 2 years for the bike, 1 year for the battery. This warranty does not cover accessories, consumables, or normal wear and tear items. Cyrusher is not liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Shipping damage must be reported to Cyrusher within 5 days of shipment arrival at customer@cyrusher.com. In no event shall Cyrusher be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage or economic loss, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or product liability in connection with its products. Cyrusher may charge a minimum service fee, replacement part cost, for cases where the warranty policy may not apply. All replacements are limited to 1 time per item. All warranty shipping must be prepaid and insured by the customer. Cyrusher cannot be held liable for lost inbound packages. Warranty is void where prohibited. Warranty Terms
Any electric bike purchased from cyrusher.de and authorized distribution channels is covered by our limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship, including individual components as follows:

A) 2 Year Limited Warranty
Cyrusher bike components, including the motor, controller and frame, are warranted against manufacturer's defects in materials and/or workmanship for 2 years or one-time replacement from the date of original purchase, whichever comes first.

B) 1 Year Limited Warranty
Lithium-ion batteries, hydraulic brakes, front fork, bike computer, pedal assist sensor, battery charger, rims, stem, handlebars, headset, seat post, bottom bracket, crankset, rear rack and shifting systems are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for 1 year or one-time replacement from the date of original purchase, whichever comes first. Battery warranty does not cover damage caused by power surges, use of an unsuitable charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear and tear or water damage.

C) No Warranty
Please note that gears and accessories are excluded from this warranty policy but are included in our return policy.

How to claim warranty
Contact Cyrusher at customer@cyrusher.com with the description of your problem and proof of purchase (i.e. order number, purchase date and purchase channel). For bikes purchased after August 2022, you must provide the Cyrusher Global Tag, a unique authenticity number found on the back of the bike frame. Cyrusher will review your case and contact you to walk you through the process of resolving your issue.

What will we do?
If a component is deemed defective or damaged through no user error, we will issue a replacement part. We will help you replace defective parts. We will replace any parts deemed damaged during transit. We will provide the owner with a replacement product if the product cannot be repaired after a reasonable number of attempts determined by the Cyrusher team.

What will we not do?
Cyrusher will not replace any part without first seeing photos or videos of the damaged part. We do not provide warranty service to second owners. We will not replace any user-damaged parts. We will not pay for third-party service or part replacement unless agreed upon prior to repair. We do not cover return shipping costs for damaged or defective products or components. Cyrusher does not cover any damage that may occur during shipping if the owner uses their own shipping service. Please see our Return Policy for more information. We do not offer warranty service to owners who did not purchase from cyrusher.de or authorized dealers.

Claims
All claims under this warranty must be made through Cyrusher. Proof of purchase is required with any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, we recommend that you contact our Customer Service team as there may be a simple solution to your issue. Applicable warranty claims will be processed through Cyrusher within one year of the initial purchase. Warranty claims can be directed to customer@cyrusher.com.

Shipping Damage Claims
Inspect your product(s) IMMEDIATELY for damage. Shipping damage claims are extremely time sensitive. We will not accept shipping damage claims later than 14 days after receiving the product. Make note of any damage to your products on the waybill before you and the driver sign for the shipment. Take photos of any damage found and date the images if possible. Keep all packaging and documentation until the inspection process is complete. Report damage claims to Cyrusher Customer Service at customer@cyrusher.com within 14 days of delivery.

Credit Card Chargebacks
If for any reason a credit card chargeback of any amount is made on an order and the customer is still in possession of the products on that order, the warranty will be suspended until the chargeback is resolved.
